This was, of course, only one of a series of "receipts" that landed, albeit an early generator. Say it was 10% responsible. That means that we need the equivalent impact of 70,000-210,000 total engagements to unseat someone who's an easy commitment to break.
This is all fermi estimation, ofc. Some people click through every image on every receipt. Some only see one and bail. Either way, it's an impact measure. This is fundamentally how bots work -- inflating that impact directly and indirectly.
Automated theft of the public consciousness is not only possible, it's observable.
