The Nazis ruined my fucking life. I have dear friends who were nearly killed. I was fucking attacked. So forgive me for having no sympathy for dragging your asses for calling me a sympathizer for suggesting a single photo may have context.

As a black person, I don’t need context for white people chilling with racists. It’s a one-strike policy until she earns her way back.
-
That's fair but can we give her a chance to earn it?
-
In politics, chances aren’t given but taken. She has to do the work without being asked. That’s when she earns it.
-
She literally spent 7 years in the wrong gender prison for exposing war crimes. Gosh if that doesn't earn you one, nothing ever will.
-
Not for hanging out with racists.

Why would wearing a white hood & robe while standing next to a burning cross need... context? Seems pretty contextual as it is.
-
She's not doing those things
-
I meant in an general sense. Chillin' with racists pretty much means only one thing. If context was needed it would've been provided already.

Okay, I want to hear your theory on what context could possible make this look good?
-
It *doesn't* look good. That's not the question. The question is whether the reality and appearance are aligned.
-
...So what's your theory on the reality? Give me a straight answer, dammit. I want to hear a reasonable explanation from her supporters.
-
that's not Emily's responsibility
-
it is not my responsibility nor do I have enough info to hazard a guess. Neither does anyone else. That's the point.
-
Well, I would like to believe she acted in good faith; that would mean my theories were right. Unfortunately, in light of current evidence it seems I was wrong. If there's more info I'll be glad to hear it. But we work with what we have, not the realm of fantasy and theory.
-
at the moment, it means we *have* to wait for more information
-
You're not wrong; I just doubt we'll get a straight answer from anyone involved.

It's Not A Great Look, i'll agree with anybody on that, but jumping straight into conspiracy theory territory about it makes me wonder about people's motivations

Pictured with alt right. Admits to being at alt right party, claiming to be trolling but nobody saw it. I'm pretty sure you would never smile in a picture with Nazis. Why defend her?
-
Except a whole bunch of people who said they saw it. And would you recognise Jack P. in person?
-
Seriously, I read about these fash douchebags all the time but I wouldn't recognize almost any of them on the street.
-
It's not like they are Milo or Spencer, they just look like generic white dudes
