An event is going around Facebook for "Burn the Confederate Flag Day" in Richmond in March. This is a trap. Do not attend, do not mark yourself as going or interested, and for fuck's sake don't organize on Facebook.pic.twitter.com/crAwppOZF7

Arent you giving the trolls a bit to much of credit there ?
Not if the trolls are feds. Which one should default assume they are.
And why would feds care if some archaic outdated symbol of opression is burned ? If this would be about the Stars and Stripes then i could imagine it but not this way.
It fits their consistent M.O. They build networks, allegiances, etc. by looking at this stuff. It's not about the flag. It's about who shows up.
Might be but personally im still betting my money on the Trolls here.
Im just not sure wich side is trying to troll wich side here. Alt-Rights trying to lure in Lefties to beat them up or lefties poking fun at the Righties who would no doubt show up in masses to keep such an 'atrocity' from happening only to find no one there.
Trolls have cameras too. In my city, during various protests/demos/vigils/what have you, there is an apartment balcony downtown where 3-4 dudes in alt-right gear always have a complex camera setup going.
Cameras yes but certainly no facial recognition-systems as mentioned further up this thread :P and surely no one would take issue if i would "randomly" stroll past the venue where such a event would take place.
