It's not a scandal when it happens literally every week. It's just normal at that point. And what it does is totally erodes any foundation of an idea that things have meaning.

How do you meaningfully oppose the wall at this stage when there's no consistent basis upon which to oppose it? No sense in fighting till the trucks show up, because it's not just that there's a moving target. Sometimes your gun is a banana.
