Led by DSA action, Charlottesville last night also voted to not give a millionaire developer tax breaks to finish building a dilapidated luxury hotel he's already committed to building. Charlottesville activism is crushing it these days.

Hey I have an idea. Let's just keep throwing money at developers to not keep their promises. That has a real strong history of working and isn't at all what brought us here.

Maybe after we give him a million in tax breaks, we can give him two million in tax breaks. And all he has to do is continue doing the hard work of "nothing."

Downtown Cville is clamoring for office space. I guarantee you can get a developer to do something better with the area and *not* end up in a toxic, go nowhere contract situation. Or not, because who wants to bring a business to Nazi central with the highest healthcare costs
