In this particular case one of the candidates prosecuted the KKK and the other is a serial child molester who pines for slavery times. So it's pretty clear that one of these people is better than the person he opposes. /1

Is this accurate? I don't think this is accurate. The reactionary right fired all the less extreme Republicans and replaced them with extremists, and nominated a Presidential candidate who came from outside the Republican party completely.
