A point of interest: some weeks back, Dan Borden, one of Harris's attackers, had a bond hearing. During that hearing, Borden's lawyer said that the possibility of 3rd party self defense should allow him bond.

The warrant against DeAndre was a citizen warrant. For felonies, a police officer has to sign off on the complaint.
