A point of interest: some weeks back, Dan Borden, one of Harris's attackers, had a bond hearing. During that hearing, Borden's lawyer said that the possibility of 3rd party self defense should allow him bond.

The warrant against DeAndre was a citizen warrant. For felonies, a police officer has to sign off on the complaint.

Reminds me of a strategy admitted by a politician where a policy goal is decided upon behind closed doors, then the severity is increased before it's enacted, so, in response to an inevitable pushback, the government will withdraw to the original aim and people feel they have won

Never should have been charged to begin with. He was beat by white supremacists & law enforcement sought to shut him up by arresting him. I hope he sues the shit out of them all.
