Cantwell's bond denial was based on three charges. Since two have been dropped and the remaining charge isn't a presumption offense, he has the right to re-appeal.

However, the arguments used for the first denial ars still valid: he has no ties to the community, he bragged about the offense, he boasted about committing more violence, and has used derogatory language towards his victims.

In the meanwhile, literally nobody is happy about the independent review. The cops and city officials are livid. Activists are infuriated that our efforts were still ignored, called "noise."

UPDATE: Reports from the courthouse say that bond condition is set at $25,000 with an ankle monitor, conditional upon having a real residence, which it sounds like is up in the air for a bit.
