i sincerely hope @DrWesBellamy arrived at her apartment at 8am, as promised.

I hope you see how this is all connected Wes. Citizens raise issue. City responds with assurances. Issue continues or worsens. City fails. Citizens demand accountability. City promises change. No change. Repeat forever.
-
So forgive us if we're loud or rude or "lack civility" when our government fails us in both remarkable catastrophes and everyday tragedies.
-
I’ve never once said for anyone to not express themselves nor have I ever used the words “be civil”...I don’t mind it. In this thread, I continue to say that I’m not going to put her biz on Twitter. She and I discussed it.
-
i fear you may be missing the point. we're no longer talking specifically about ms connie. we're talking about accountability in general, of which there continues to be very little. and accusing me of "coming at you" is functionally the same as signer's calls for civility.
-
my bad for taking it personal. You’re right. We all in this together. Have to act like it. Myself included.
-
As crazy as this sounds Wes, we're only engaging you and trying to hold you to your word (and looking forward to seeing Ms. Rosenbaum hooked up) because we had *some* faith in you. See *some* potential in pushing you into your greatness.
-
yes. 1000 times yes. you don't see us out here pushing signer or galvin to do better, to be better, to live up to what we think they could be. because we don't think they can be or do anything for us, for this city. you're a teacher, a mentor, a father -- you get this.
-
that makes sense. Honestly, thanks for the clarity. And that makes sense. We are all on the same side and team fighting for justice and equity. Appreciate the support.

just like I would do for you. Just like I’m trying to do for you. How is that right? This ain’t about politics for me, so don’t lump me in. Im talking about the community... & we have several communities w/in this city. How is it right?
-
is this... is this trumpian "both sides" rhetoric? are you saying people who "feel differently" about facts have exactly the same weight in the public discourse? can you expand on what you mean by this?

I would agree with you. I don’t think Heaphy told us a whole lot that a lot of the citizens have consistently said. There are also A LOT of people who feel differently about it. So You’re saying I shouldn’t take what they say in account->

Who, the cops?
