This makes our situations quite a bit more complex. It changes our calculus. I have to assume that the second I show up at an action, I'm doxxed and a target.

Then I suppose I don’t understand exactly what you’re getting at. The logic doesn’t follow that just because you have to give more info about you personally, why this then means you should put yourself and others at even more risk by engaging with a state investigation?
-
That's not the conclusion I'm drawing. I'm saying that being trans by itself *already* puts you at that risk level, regardless. That it's part of the value calculus.
-
I can see how it puts you at *more* risk, but not how it’s the same as cooperating with an investigation clearly meant to drum up info on anti-fascists. If they wanted to dismantle the Right, they would have. Their opsec is god awful
-
Yeah I'm not talking about any specific investigation with this thread. I'm talking generally.
-
My Aug 11 references were just to draw an example of the kind of targeting that often happens.

This also includes not just cis white dudes who were there that day. Cantwell and fields have incredibly damning cases against them, from a legal perspective. If they aren’t pursued by the state, it’s not because anyone on our side didn’t do enough. The state just doesn’t care
