Trans discourse has not evolved in any measurable meaningful sense in the past two years.

Instead I've moved my trans activism to closed groups, largely organizing in real space or near-real space, and focused my energy and money there.

Meanwhile, in real space, I can say, "I need help with a thing" and folks come out offering vehicles, tools, resources, protection, money, food.

Do you still go with any intra-trans Discourse™ or have you sort of checked out in that respect too? Too much has stagnated, ur so right, esp “proving” things to cis ppl, but at least we’re “getting” some things as a community, I thinkpic.twitter.com/hi4MYNM0zm

I dunno, maybe I'm just jaded. But I feel like since this summer I've built more progress and solidarity in a span of weeks to a few months than I have in 2+ years
-
I mean, you’ve been doing ~politics~ much longer than me and with the state of trans things, “jaded” is prolly pretty merited. But flipping that positively, it’s awesome that you’ve found solid IRL network and a lot of good work!!
