They had a permit to protest the removal of the statue. What would have been the outcome if Antifa had not disrupted it? If they were allowed to speak and peacefully protest the statue removal, no one would have been hurt or killed. The protest would have largely been ignored.

No events were permitted on August 11, UVa had no permitting process for gatherings, and the Thomas Jefferson statue is not under contention for removal.

It was not. It was on the property of the University of Virginia.

Thanks for that clarification. So what would have been the result had Antifa decided to look away and not engage?

You mean what would have been the result if people let fear and intimidation bar them from exercising their constitutional rights?

The funny thing about constitutional rights is that we all have them, even those people that hold different opinions. My question is would things have turned out differently had a known domestic terrorist group not interfered with the free speech of others?

You are alleging that a small group of university students is a terror organization.

I don’t have to. DHS has classified Antifa (anti-fascist) as a domestic terrorist group. It’s clearly in your profile that you are anti-fascist.
