Stop tactics policing Charlottesville activists when you know nothing about what we're doing or what traumas we've suffered. https://twitter.com/Str8S1xx/status/917003613787979776 …

"why didn't you run them out of town?" Honey, the last time an undersized group confronted the torch-weilding Nazis someone almost died.

How many people do you think have the training to respond in minutes to a location in the most traffic-dense, parking-starved part of town?

It takes 15 minutes at minimum to get to downtown charlottesville via car from anywhere that isn't already downtown charlottesville.

Activists got the alert and got there before police. Stop saying we're not doing enough.

Who was this person that nearly lost their life at the last torch rally? Surely it's published somewhere. What life-threatening injury did they incur which required a life flight helicopter and emergency surgery?

Yes, because we'd use a helicopter to travel the 1000 yards to the hospital.

Oh, so you carried someone to the hospital either by hand or car. Okay. Again, who was this person who suffered a near fatal injury?

Look, I get you're having a hard time admitting you are seriously exaggerating a situation where you personally felt threatened. That's fine. But there is no "public record" of someone almost dying at the torch rally.

You're talking about this guy who complained of something hitting him in the neck (on his carotid artery), and then he walked home? Ya uh... Still waiting for that "public record" of someone almost lost their life.pic.twitter.com/MavyPUl5XK

Yes, people can die from injuries days, months, or years after the injury occurred. And the attacker is still liable.
