Would I ever realistically be in this scenario at another company? No, I would bail on/not accept at any company with this sexist culture.
-
Do I stand by my words? Yep. Motherfucker brought in well-debunked trans tropes that drive my peers to isolation and suicide when persisted
-
Trans-inclusivity doesn't just mean providing trans healthcare. It means instantly firing folks who pull out garbage about "castrated males"
-
You get to tell me my words are too strong when you've done suicide watch for a trans woman with no hope of being accepted by the world.

Bit hypocritical though, no? Calling his words violence, yet trying to argue that your violent words aren't? (But he's a douche, sure.)
-
I'm not arguing my words aren't violence, and in any case you can't ignore power dynamics.
-
Generally, words aren't violence. But we should draw the line at actual incitement to mass murder, and probably against individuals.

I won't commit violent acts against these people but I also don't care if others do.
