Why do we not call it violence when instead we just forge alliances based on excluding people and paying them less and taking their share?

Exactly. An opinion is "I don't like eggplant". But "I don't like eggplant farmers" or "I won't serve people who like eggplants" is a policy

The only opinions I think someone has an absolute right to, unchallenged, are opinions which target the person stating them.
