Dear GrubHub: who are these people tipping 30% on delivery food?
-
-
Yep I'm 30% regularly, always a base of $7 even if it's $12 of food and then up from there. It's money I don't notice, they do, I feel good.
-
No judgments tho, as long as people do tip. Life used to be harder for me so I do feel a half-assed self-serving obligation.
-
Well now I feel like some kind of monster.
-
If it makes you feel better, you're not
-
I feel like a monster when I waver on tipping 20% for a delivery that has a separate $5-7 delivery fee already.
-
$5-7 fee? jfc we dumped tea in a harbor for smaller offenses
-
I just don’t understand why that’s being charged, but I don’t want to risk it *not* going to the delivery folks and reducing their tip.
