Split it up, hate speech is not a call to violence. It's a hateful option or statement. Call for violence is something different.

Hateful opinions against groups should not be afforded protections. ICCPR Article 20 agrees. This is a recognized standard.

Article 19 and Article 20 go together. It's not that hard. I'm not talking about criminalizing speech, I'm talking abt not protecting it.

It's not binding, but it does provide a standard. There is a gulf between "hate speech is illegal" and "cops in riot gear have to defend it"

From I been reading the DOJ has sent people to jail and fined people when the UN makes a complaint.
