      You don't need to know Pokémon -- if the recruiter knows how to use word2vec, these are trivial to distinguish ;)

      That puts the burden on the recruiter to know dozens of capricious technologies, which is equally unreasonable.

          I'm a technologist who knows nothing about Pokemon, and I'm not sure if sawk is a custom awk, or a pokemon. Similarly for a few others.

          The project leads should know the relevant tech. Recruiter should get someone who fits in the team. Not stripe of a list of buzzwords.
