If 24 million people lose healthcare, we *could* just say, "well gosh that was a tough legislative loss" or we could shut everything down.

Like I can't fathom that we're gonna be *this* angry about the potential harm a priori and then do *nothing* a posteriori.

Yeah, it would be great to strike. However people need to eat, and it's fear of losing what little they have that'll prevent it.
