So, learning a language by immersion is fun but it's def. different than as a child, and I don't think neuroplasticity is the sole reason.

I think also children's language / vocab/ conversation builds naturally from simple to complex more than adult immersion

Children's actual learning (versus their schooling) is also very practical based on need. :) And different needs, but not all that different
