This attitude is not novel. I live in Virginia. I worked with some conservative people. Not bad people day to day.

That NRA video says *nothing* new. "Liberals" have been an enemy for some time. And they don't use that word like I use that word.

When I talk about violent threats here, I regularly get told to buy a gun. Do you hate guns? You should go to a gun store. Seriously.

The imagery and tone in the marketing copy is... well, you have to see it.

And I do own guns. Two weeks ago, I bought an assault rifle on a lunch break. I did this for one basic reason.

I cannot reconcile the regular "gas the tranny" and "Arm yourself, defend against Liberal hordes" messages with "the right isn't violent."
