It'd be nice to not have to drive 75 miles each way to see providers who have both competence and interest in caring for trans patients.

I get told by older nurses sometimes that Charlottesville was a center of trans care in the 80s. Not shocking given how gatekeepery it was.

It's too bad they couldn't adapt to changing knowledge of trans care and decided to pack it all up instead.
