Looking back, it's weird how much I stanned for cops when I waa younger and foolisher, despite having had many negative experiences.

I'm obsessed with "The Real World of Technology" (1989) — her "technology" broadly describes any practice, from therapy to making software.

Some practices are "holistic", and require an intuitive give and take based on expertise and empathy. Like throwing pottery or listening.

This reminds me of when I was threatened with a disorderly conduct arrest in a police station because I was crying & pointed at a cop.

I pointed at one who had left my home without taking a report. The one who threatened me also lied that what I was reporting wasn't a crime.

I suspect that the person I was reporting, a relative who spent time as a volunteer officer, had lied to them about me to discredit me.

I wonder if she brought up mental illness, which can obviously lead to wildly problematic responses. Frustrated tears + pointing = threat
