Dilating has gotten fucking hard, I've had to size down, which I think is weird at 12 weeks. But it's too damn painful rn.

I switch between the #3 and #4 and both are still difficult. From what I've been told, this is fine so long as you still reach full depth

I've learned I just have to dilate more often. I've also learned sex feels completely different and 100% better than dilating

I dunno what numbers I have, but i'd been fine with the biggest one they gave me, but I was not doing it as frequently when I traveled :/

Now the tearing hurts, so I'm sizing down and trying to step back up

Yup. I've gone a couple weeks without dilating due to depression and when I started back up had to size down and do it often.

The number one thing I wish I was told before I went in for surgery was to plan to take 6ish months off to focus on dilation & care

I'm really irritated by the difference between sizes. Blue, too easy. Green, actual torture

Mine are all clear and now I'm super interested in learning the differences in dilators from surgeon to surgeon.

You can look them up! They are medical devices and are listed in FDA DB. I'll dig them up in a sec
