I'm gonna make a short urban survival thread on what to do if you find yourself surviving and fleeing an incident in an unfamiliar area.

Using that orientation, you can now seek transit stations or bus stops, anything that can orient you with a local map.
-
Trains/buses/taxis will be likely shut down but now you'll know where you are and will be safe. Now you can try calling out.
-
Using your train station/bus stop as a home base, you can look for hotels, shops, cafes, whatever that can provide comfort.
-
Avoid gathering in other major areas--secondary attacks are known tactics. Instead, you're 100x better off at a hotel several blocks away.
-
Also you'll want to get on wifi to send safety messages/arrange pickup. Again, expect cell network saturation.
-
And in the event you find yourself able to get on a bus/train/taxi, don't worry about the fare. They're all gonna help willingly.
-
Can we add get First Responder trained and if safe go and help people affected. Minutes save lives.
-
Definitely an important thing but gonna have to do that beforehand.
