In 2003, I was diagnosed with Graves disease, a hyperthyroid condition. It's fairly easy to treat, but thyroid storm nearly killed me.

I'm curious: is this a degree of hypothyroidism for which synthroid is first-line or the normal treatment?

yep, for now I take generic synthroid and I feel great, numbers are perfect.

This is infurating: hypothyrodism is often easy to treat and quite prevalent (as I'm sure you know)....
