That would be great. One thing about phrasing is that it's not that intent doesn't "matter," it's that impact matter so much more. But...
just like with real world problems, humans tend to bikeshed, and intent is an easier, more comfortable problem to solve than impact.
And giving intent any leeway tends to let people focus on it. By asserting it doesn't matter, we keep the conversation on track.
OK, I see that argument. I prefer the thought "it's not about you" but I'll think about that more. Really pleased to have had this exchange!
