Why is it a foregone conclusion that if you're in tech, your path necessarily leads to entrepreneurship?

Most of the techies I know are some blend of anarchists and communists so maybe we need more meetups that explicitly include not capital.

Just jk. IMO it's crass. Could talk about customers, engineering, even burndown rates, but prefer to talk $, compare sizes of investments.

But real entrepreneurship doesn't even necessarily involve funding, not beyond self-funding anyway. Just selling things that people want.
