Here's a fun trick for converting a repeating decimal into a fraction. Say, 3.2189189189... 1.) take the non repeating bit away and save it

Now you have 0.0189189... Set this equal to x, then multiply by 10 until one full repeating part is to the left of the dot 10000x=189.189..

Now subtract the multiple of x needed to make the right hand side an integer. 10000x-10x = 189 x = 189/9990

Now add this back to the bit you saved and convert to a common denominator: 3.2 + 189/9990 = 32157/9990. Tada! Reduce as desired.
