Here's a fun trick for converting a repeating decimal into a fraction. Say, 3.2189189189... 1.) take the non repeating bit away and save it
-
-
-
Now you have 0.0189189... Set this equal to x, then multiply by 10 until one full repeating part is to the left of the dot 10000x=189.189..
-
Now subtract the multiple of x needed to make the right hand side an integer. 10000x-10x = 189 x = 189/9990
-
Now add this back to the bit you saved and convert to a common denominator: 3.2 + 189/9990 = 32157/9990. Tada! Reduce as desired.
-
I needed this yesterday…
-
you have it today!

So you tweet about trans rights, and people are ok with that, but give them math and they'll unfollow?
-
fear of math, fear of trans, not sure what's deeper
