Some of the positions were filled by acting staff under Obama, so the positions legally vacate before day 300 of the Trump admin.
He has carte blanche to install cronies in those roles for the next eight-ish months if he wants. But he hasn't yet.
Probably because Bannon's goal is to watch our governmental process burn.
But this already is hurting our international standing. There's no one picking up the phone. Eventually countries take business elsewhere.
Mexico halted some sugar exports. The acting under secretary for international trade was installed in June 2016. His 300 days are almost up.
We're heading towards the edge of cliff and no one seems particularly interested in changing course or even grabbing a parachute.
