I would use "trans people" and "queer people" because I want to emphasize personhood, but I'm legit unaware of any issues otherwise.

I would capitalize Black ? I feel that's most respectful?

I think it's OK. It's the only phrase I know off that encapsulates all people of African origin.

In England they just call black people "English." I'd love to see a day where we just say "Americans."
-
I'm not really a fan of erasing any cultural identities.
-
Not to erase culture. In GB "Black" isn't 1st identifier like U.S. "Black American" rather "British" (of African decent) 1/4

not a black person myself but I believe that is the preferred unless you want to specifically speak of African Americans.

I’ve been told the correct phrasing is Black people, capital B.

Good question. I feel silly being referred to as a "white" guy. Future-people will be appalled at our ignorance.
