100% agreed. What I mean is, responding to a speaker we don't like—no matter how repulsive—w/ violence is a losing strategy.

Not saying it's wrong, or even unjustified. I'm saying I think it will be counter-productive for the Left as a movement.

It's counterproductive because the left doesn't value actual lives over principles they wish were true.

But it is absolutely justified to defend lives against the assaults that ppl like Milo instigate.

Absolutely it is. I'm saying it's not justified to respond to speech with physical violence.

If violent offenders go after us, then we respond in kind. If we're talking just speech though, I can't get on board.
