Can we talk about naming for a minute? I’m kinda tired of hearing “naming is hard” because it seems to imply the name cannot ever change??

When I was a new developer I deeply desired people to call a spade a spade instead of a lot of garbage terminology we actually use.

I wish that we didn’t need the naming convention for software for ease of interacting with it. Consider changing names like you change code.

One thing I'd love is for git yo have easy ways to mark commits as things like "name changes", beyond just commit messages.
