I had, at the time, the same first/last name as my father. Something evidently fucked up at the state registrar, so I was denied my vote.

Having grown up in a patriotic family, being denied the right to vote was a huge offense, especially since it was no fault of my own.

My politics have dramatically changed, but the right to vote is still important to me.

God help anyone who tries to block my ability to vote come Tuesday. Any VA good ol' boys threatening that entrance gonna end up sorry.
