How do you draw the line between walking away from something for the sake of mental health, and giving up and accepting failure?
Walking away from this rink situation would likely reduce near term anxiety by exchanging it for a feeling of loss and permanent failure.

I'm admittedly not so great at permanent failure.

And I'm not sure that giving up will truly benefit my mental health down the road. But right now I am so saturated.

In the end, I am so incredibly disappointed by the City of Charlottesville and the City's Human Rights Office. Total letdown.
