I have amblyopia so I bought an eye patch like 19 years after I was supposed to have been using one and man this is so weird.
But legit, you can get solid improvement by playing 3D games while patched. Racing or FPS works best, farther from screen=good

Hmm, really? Do you have any solid resources on this? The stuff I've googled up felt sketchy.
-
I read one sort-of study report that specifically stated that the game they used *forced* the player to use both eyes
-
because the data needed to win the game was split between the eyes so favoring one was impossible
-
however what i've read about patches is that (at least in adults) it's a temporary and minimal benefit that wears off
-
It can, but it can persist. Vision therapy research in adults is weak, for reasons. My phone dying, but we can chat later.
-
I have literally dozens of resources.
-
thank you, it's actually super awesome just to have this acknowledged. anything you have is appreciated!
