I notice that this incident which, unlike the Andy Ngo incident, resulted in an actual brain injury that required surgery, didn’t result in a Senator trying to declare the entire white nationalist movement a terror organization.

To be clear, he pleaded guilty under Deferred Adjudication. This is basically a free pass that takes 3 years to collect. If he doesn’t get caught committing more crimes for three years it’s dismissed. Around a year after that he’ll be eligible to seal the record.
