Even the doxing campaigns have been not very effective. They don’t hide, and they don’t seem to be impacted very much, unlike those distantly connected to Nazi groups.

I kinda get what you're saying about their ideology being amorphous and not explicitly white supremacist, but their slogans are all signaling white supremacy.
-
and their fucking lawyer, the guy who sends cease and desist letters to people for calling them Nazis, is a Turner Diaries-reading Stormfront poster who got kicked from Twitter for threatening to lynch somebody.https://medium.com/@justinward/better-call-j-l-584074ea2968 …

Oh they definitely have a lot of overlap

The American Guard is technically "multiracial" too but it's almost entirely made up of neo-Nazis + a few Threepers and Proud Boyspic.twitter.com/qbUrJQxvhr

So there's what like 20-25 of them.. and about 350,000,000 of us.. Who cares what those dumb kids think?
-
People like me. I don't live in the US or Canada, but I have relatives who do. I'm also concerned because I've seen their ideologies spreading among people in my own country. We're a tiny island nation with different dynamics yet these ideologies are reaching us + catching on.
-
I can certainly understand and appreciate your concern. Thankfully that ideology has been on a steady decline over here. I hope the same happens out by you too my friend

-
And I hate to say this, but I find it is usually those with the least to fear who are the ones trying to promote the idea that we have little or nothing to fear. I can't pretend reality away. That's a privilege I don't have.
-
Well if someone has little to fear then they are likely to be the ones to say so.. Where are you from if you don't mind me asking of course?
-
Oh that is wonderful! If you ever want to trade homes for a month or so just let me know

The Proud Boys aren’t motivated by racial superiority; sure, they expect the perks of White Supremacy, but their REAL schtick is MALE SUPREMACY Their credo is ‘Western Chauvinism’, which means any ‘Alpha’ male can do whatever the fuck he wants, or he’ll beat you up.

Yeah, I've always wondered what their deal is outside of "we are assholes who want an excuse to get in fights with people we don't like for *vague gesturing* reasons". It seems like that's kind of the core motive.

I think you've severely under-estimated them. They know exactly what they're doing. Nazis don't hate them. They know their chats are watched. They know to appear oppose the proudboys and other similar "lite" groups. It gives the false impression that they are disconnected.
-
The pb are a funnel for white supremacist ideology, as are all these other "right-wing" groups with ambiguous views. The alt-right didn't just grow by trolling, but by pretending to be skeptics. They allow "poc" in their ranks bc it attracts white people who haven't turned yet.

Aren’t the Proud Boys for the “Men’s Rights Movement” and “incel” types? Basically, losers with alot of insecurity and no productive outlet.
-
That's where they recruit. They're just a step-between for full on nazism.
