On one hand, I feel I should be totally worried about this on general principles. On the other hand, I think about all the data they could have access to on my phone, and I realize how laughably boring and non-criminal my life actually is.

This is true and an extremely valid concern for many people, however my own contacts are as equally mundane and boring as the rest of my life... lol

How about their contacts? Once you get picked up they're now at risk for being known associates of a known associate of a person of interest. And with how things are going these days, I'd not be confident of avoiding state attention myself.
