I haven’t don’t global entry because fuck fingerprinting. But this system already has my face data thanks to passport photos. This tech didn’t exist when I got my passport. Soooooo

With MobilePassport I haven’t really seen the benefit of Global Entry... but I guess every port of entry I’ve used recently supports it and some may not

GE is faster at JFK but yeah mobile passport is decent. Most of the time. Easter morning it was *slower* because they had noobs at the counter who had no idea how it worked

Mobile passport terrifies me, because it means (a) installing an app made under DHS direction onto my phone, and (b) handing my unlocked phone to an LEO.
