During a scuffle at Kent State University, a pro-gun supporter appears to be reaching for a gun strapped to his side as he fights his way into the crowd of anti-gun protesters.pic.twitter.com/PbBlxlGIaZ

I think he may actually be trying to keep someone else from grabbing it. Of course, pushing into the crowd in the first place isn't exactly a great idea on that front in the first place. (I guess someone took his flag? Not sure I understand that risk calculation.)

1/2 I watched the live for about an hour. He pushed through the crowd of protestors (for what reason I’m not sure, he had absolutely no reason to and in fact there was a human wall of troopers blocking the counter protestors from the people who were there for the rally).

Huh. I didnt know he was pushing before the clip. That does change the context a lot. Obviously going through a cop line into a crowd, with a gun, is an extremely stupid idea, but I can sorta see why someone would? But if he was pushing before, he was def just looking for a fight

I don’t disagree that he may be keeping someone from grabbing it, because I don’t know either way. Just wanted to put the event in context.
