Well, here I am. (at @BostonLogan International Airport in Boston, MA)https://www.swarmapp.com/c/ddG5QtZNmFd

If you get off at the first WTC stop you can run downstairs and catch the bus ahead of yours, skipping the square-tyre delay. (Though you have to pay so it's only really appealing if you have a pass.)
-
How did I end up inside fare control for the Red Line?
-
Trips from the airport to anywhere on the rapid transit system are free, paid for by Massport. (But attempting the shortcut at WTC means starting a second trip that didn't start at the airport, so requires paying.)
-
As long as you use the Silver Lie. The Massport shuttle to the blue line still requires a fare.
-
none of this makes any kind of sense
-
Neither does the Oakland Airport Connector in fairness.
-
Or remember before, when the AirBART bus had a higher fare than tha AC Transit bus on the exact same route?
-
US airport rail links I have used, from best to worst: MSP > DCA > ATL > CLE > ORD > SEA > SFO > JFK > [BOS would be here expect it's not rail] > PDX > OAK > PHL > BUR > MIA > EWR > BWI. Have yet to try ANC, DFW, DEN, MDW, PHX, PVD, SBN, SLC, or STL.
