If you don’t think that cops planted weed in his apartment after controlling access for a week then I have a Resistance to sell you.

Whats to gain by saying this? Whats the play? Why is this a better idea to push, than the objective fact, it absolutely doesn't matter that he had weed?
-
Pushing that it is not relevant if he had weed and pushing that cops regularly plant evidence are two sides of the same coin
-
Tbh, It's messed up cause as a black male, I freak out when police flash their lights just passing me, and now I'm afraid to be in my own house. And This is just normal life now for this country

Great fucking point, it took them a week? What did they hope we'd forget why they were there in a week? WTF, if it was a crime scene to being with, and it should have been, why the warrant. I'm so much more convinced they planted the MJ. Maybe they thought Coke 2 much, no rec?
-
Not enough coke in the evidence locker, easier to just drop some weed pulled from a CI

No sometimes they use it for plants... But, ever wonder when they confiscate your stereo or car where that goes. Sometimes auction, if someone hasn't taken it home by then.

Civil forfeiture is the weirdest bullshit

White privilege here is that the black victim's apartment gets searched while the white killer's apartment goes untouched

Even if he has weed that doesn’t allow an officer out of uniform and off work to cold blooded kill someone in their own home no warrant no nothing. Decriminalize weed, hold cops accountable for that shit at long last.

I can't count how many times I read, re-read, tried to find some kind of other source saying that they were ACTUALLY searching the cops apartment and not the guy who got shot. I get it, it's a crime scene...but for a murder. What he has in his apartment is irrelevant.

Those that control us will go to any lengths to maintain that control. Only by deciding as one not to tolerate it can we change it.
-
Pitchforks and torches aren't gonna cut it anymore. One fears we have to exercise the same 2nd amendment rights that have been used against us for so long in order to resolve this. Looks like Starship Troopers was right...https://youtu.be/EBxgrr0wL8M

Love is the answer to every conflict we've faced. Our need to judge and control others who feel differently will be our demise as a species.
-
Love is not a credible solution to our problems, and our demise is assured.
-
There is no credible solution to our problems at this point, I fear. But love will be the path of least resistance for us in terms of pain.
-
I agree with this take wholeheartedly. It's too bad I find myself incapable of it.
-
Pick up a history book. Love doesn’t change anything. Violence does.
-
And that is exactly the mentality that will lead to our annihilation. Violence breeds violence. Always has, always will. The state of our world is evidence that the ways we have handled conflict haven't worked. I don't need a book to see the result of our history. I'm living it.
