And you'd be wrong to do that. I'm not a Nazi collaborator. You though appear to have graduated from the black-and-white school of thinking.
-
Chris, since your original post you've heard from several people who have been directly confronted or been threatened by Nazis... maybe... just maybe you should listen. We don't need to listen to you. They aren't coming after you.
-
I'll listen to people who don't want to call me a Nazi apologist because I am not for pre-emptive violence. Really don't get why that's so hard to understand. If you think I don't get the victim end of this, you don't know me at all. I'm well aware of it.
-
But you want us to go talk to people who want us dead? Have you ever done that? Do you know organizing by antifa has helped prevent a repeat of A11 and A12? (This is where you link to the article of a Black man who did just that and suggest we all should replicate his example)
-
Let me repeat what I've already said literally 10 times. I have no issue with organizing, protesting, public shaming or even doxing Nazis. I have a problem with pre-emptive violence. If you want to go throw rocks at or beat up Nazis, I'm not your guy. What part of that is so bad?
-
Because they are organizing to commit violence. So to me, we live in an environment where the police and the government are playing footsie with Nazis. So, I, if I wasn’t directly a target of Nazis would understand that Nazis as never not violent. Their goal is genocide.
-
I get there are serious problems with the police & at the same time all Americans have rights the police have to protect. My position on pre-emptive violence isn't going to change. I support anti-Nazi efforts up to that point.

1)If you are implying in any way that
@sheltondesigner is fascist-like then you just don't know the man. He has that rare ability to look at both sides of an issue and call out both the good and the bad sides, regardless of which side he's on. He refuses to buy into innuendo..... -
2)... hyperbole, and gossip. If he's wrong he readily admits it. If he has doubts he states it. I've never known Chris to go to far extremes on any subject. He's a good man. He's a smart and analytical man. It's okay to point out wrong when you see it even in your own cause.
-
he's a good man, a smart and analytical man, which is why he looks at literal card carrying genocide-pushing nazis and the people who risk incarceration, injury and death to prevent them from gaining power and goes "yep, it's the antifascists who are the bad ones"
-
he has the rare ability to stand up straight despite lacking any semblance of a fucking spine

If you have to describe yourself as a "critical thinker" (multiple times) you ain't. That guy is a tool.

Wait? This guy fell hook line and E-meter for Scientology and has no college degree. He's basically an idiot with a YouTube channel.

There's A LOT of that going around.
