This person, “DocCLAR,” is Dr. Joseph Christopher Cihlar, OD, a physician at the Naval Hospital at Camp Lejeune.

Dr Cihlar, aka Doc CLAR, used his actual fucking name as his user name, so he can’t even complain about being doxed. Corey Stewart and the VA GOP has chosen to share and stand by his messages of bigotry and violence, while using the same violent event to attack their opponent.
To be clear, his identity was confirmed using details about his family and career, including the time he spent in Parkersburg, WV, his undergraduate work at UT, and also former Marines who knew him. Anonymous comrades helped immensely in finding his ID.
What remains unclear is how closely he is connected to Corey Stewart and, because Cihlar is connected in private chats to former Marine Michael Chesny, then how closely connected is Stewart to a literal leader and organizer of UTR who sought to run down protesters.
These are questions that VA media should be asking.
