How can such a homogenous group ever be effective in crafting any kind of code of ethics for the modern era?

That's not ethics, it's the abuse of ethics. Ethics as a social construct transcends race. But as long as white supremacy undergirds every institution known to man, ethics is pretty useless.

I no longer believe in ethics codes because they have no meaningful enforcement mechanism and are used to legitimize bad behavior more than preventing it
