I'm not now,nor would I ever, defend anyone who holds those views. I also strongly disagree with your attempt to put them in potential harm by outing them publicly.
-
That's how they get held accountable. Did you miss the part in the Constitution where a free press was necessary for the stability of the Union?
-
A free press is a fundamental part of our society. A petty and vindictive press, not so much. Is your purpose in outing someone to inform the public, or to exact further punishment?
-
For there to be "further" punishment, there would have to be some punishment in the first place. The American people have a right to a military free of extremists. It is therefore my responsibility to do everything in my power to ensure that to be true, wouldn't you think?
-
To report the offense, expose the perpetrator and the poor way this case is/was handled, absolutely and commendable. To put his family, including his young child in the crosshairs, I believe, oversteps your undertaking.
-
NCIS has repeatedly failed to take appropriate action unless the perpetrator is named publicly. These failures were exposed in a PBS documentary. This is the only moral option. His child is in no danger, that is a figment of your imagination.
-
Go after the command structure of the military base he is assigned to. They are responsible for referring a criminal investigation. In these cases, especially involving pilots and doctors, the failure begins at that level.
