Russia had N O T H I N G to do with what happened in Charlottesville. I have seen the perpetrators with my own eyes, been inside their organizing circles, exposed them, and more. Not one trace of Russian involvement.https://twitter.com/RVAwonk/status/1028375273757188097 …

You keep saying that, and it just isn’t true.
-
But it is. There is no material evidence, compared the the vast material evidence showing the contrary. At best, you have evidence that there was a social media element, but there is nothing to suggest that it had any effect on UTR attendance, which was driven privately.
-
‘Material’ is doing a lot of heavy lifting for you. Attitudes and activism are shaped and stirred by propaganda. Show me “material evidence” that Nazi propaganda or war or Soviet propaganda had any impact. It did tho.
-
Show me the evidence that Russian propaganda had 1/1000th the influence of American billionaires on this topic?
-
Show me evidence of how much Nazi propaganda influenced Germans in the 1930s.
-
Your historical comparison is misguided. Russian impact, which exists, is more akin to Trumpism, whereas the alt-right’s street violence is more like the SA, which was ultimately so heavily disfavored that it led to the Night of the Long Knives.
-
Thank you for the acknowledgement that Russian impact exists. If you want me to rephrase with night of the long knives, I’ll be happy to 1/2

Show me evidence of how much Nazi propaganda influenced The Night of the Long Knives.
